After looking at the workouts for week 1 (5 days), it seemed as if I would be taking a step back from the intensity I had experienced in P90X and P90X2. So I broke down and bought the Athlean-X basic program (it’s now called X1 since he just introduced Athlean-X2). I was intrigued by this physical therapist (and former strength trainer for the NY Mets) who not only had a lot of variety in his workouts, but also focused on proper form and tips that were intended to help guys like me get the most out of their workouts, utilize their time well, and eat clean without a lot of frustration. I started Athlean-X on Monday after watching Jeff Cavalier’s YouTube videos for quite some time. ![]() ![]() It’s Friday morning, the 5th day of my new workout regimen.
